How it works
Havells Fixed Thermal & Fixed Magnetic MCCB 3P 125A 25KA IHLGHT0125 works by monitoring the current flowing through the circuit. If the current exceeds the setpoint for the thermal protection, the bimetal strip inside the circuit breaker heats up and bends. This causes the circuit breaker to trip and disconnect the circuit from the power supply.
If the current exceeds the setpoint for the magnetic protection, the magnetic field created by the current flow trips the circuit breaker and disconnects the circuit from the power supply.
The earth leakage protection feature works by monitoring the current flowing in the neutral and phase conductors. If there is a difference in current between the two conductors, it indicates that there is a leakage to earth. The circuit breaker trips and disconnects the circuit from the power supply to prevent any harm.
